It’s that time of year for our Knowledge Scholarship program! This week, a representative from North Star will be visiting schools in Indus, Littlefork, International Falls, Warroad, and Baudette to provide information to students about this scholarship opportunity!
We will be awarding one $1,000 scholarship, four $400 scholarships, and eight $100 cash awards just for scoring over 60% on the test. Most of the test answers will be included in the study material provided at the school, or on our website at: https://northstarelectric.coop/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/knowledge-scholarship-information-2022.pdf
In order to qualify:
* The parent/guardian must be a North Star Electric Co-op member
* The student must be a 2022 graduate
* The student must be actively enrolled in a postsecondary school after graduation
* Candidates must take a short test about the cooperative that provides electricity to their home
Students should contact their high school guidance counselor to sign up! Test dates and times will be:
April 13
9:00 am – Indus
10:50 am – Littlefork
1:20 pm – International Falls
April 14
9:05 am – Baudette
11:10 am – Warroad
