In these challenging times, Minnesotans may find themselves having to choose between paying their energy bill and other necessities – food, medicine and healthcare. Minnesota’s Energy Assistance Program (EAP) offers eligible residents help to pay their energy bills so they do not have to choose between life’s necessities.

Spread the word to your friends and family. Emergency energy assistance funds are available. You must apply by July 1st and it’s first come first served. Additional funds (even if you previously received energy assistance dollars) and higher limits exist now. Apply if you are newly unemployed, households with young children, people with disabilities, veterans and seniors.
