Electrical Safety Video Winner!

The month of May is National Electrical Safety Month.  Typically, North Star provides electrical safety demonstrations in classrooms across our service territory.  Students normally learn to stay away from power lines, to not fly kites near power lines, to never use anything with a cord or plug around water, to not climb trees near power lines, and to watch out for powerlines when using a ladder, chainsaw, or other outdoor equipment.  In our May newsletter, we asked students to record a short movie clip to tell others how to be safe around electricity.  Our video winner was Matthew Nordine from Roosevelt!  He won $50, and you can see his video here:
