Member Discount Card Program

Introducing the Touchstone Energy® Co-op Connections ^SM Card

Beginning in July 2006, North Star Electric Cooperative members will have a new avenue to save money by using the Co-op Connections Card at participating businesses.

Because you are a member, you will receive a free card from us that looks similar to a credit card. By showing this card to a participating business, you will be given their Co-op Connection discount. The discounts vary widely from 10% off lodging to saving $.04 off every gallon of gasoline.

To find out which area businesses are participating, you can:

1) find the link on our website www.northstarelectric.coop ,

2) request that we mail you a list, or

3) watch for the Co-op Connections stickers displayed at participating businesses.

Your new Co-op Connections card can also be used across the country. Presently, in Minnesota alone, there are 5 sister Touchstone Energy Cooperatives participating: Crow Wing Power in the Brainerd area, East Central Energy in the Braham area, Mille Lacs Energy Co-op in the Aitkin area, and Wright-Hennepin Co-op Electric Assn. in the Rockford area. Additional co-ops are joining as time goes on. Plus there are national deals even outside of co-op territory. Simply show your card to participating businesses anywhere in the country

to receive their discount. All of these discounts can be viewed at www.connections.coop

There is no charge to you for this program. These are discount cards, not credit cards. We value your cooperative membership and are pleased to share this new local and national program with you. This unique program connects member businesses with cooperative members.  It's the Cooperative family working together to enhance membership.
